Description

Captured from Snoqualmie Park Pt at approximately Bortle 4 for 3 hours at a Seattle Astronomical Society star party event. Astrospheric showed 5% clouds, and I could see a slight haze to the North, but mostly not blocking my shot. For processing, this was my first run with the new BlurX AI4. I decided against using DBE, but I did use SPCC tool.

I also did some atypical masks with some localized stretches to better reveal the core. I was torn about this because I wanted to simultaneously reveal the core and the faint dust around the nebula. Masks was the only way I could get it to work. I'm astounded how much dust detail there is, this is a stark reminder of the ability to capture true signal at a B4 dark site.
